Made in the USA. Our bolt carrier group is manufactured using properly heat-treated 8620 and 9310 tool steel, which provide even better wear and shatter resistance than the original (mil-spec) Carpenter No. 158 steel used in older bolts. Each bolt and carrier is high-pressure tested (HPT), and MPI (magnetic particle inspected) before shipment. The gas key is treated with an upgraded nitride coating, which provides better wear resistance and natural lubrication compared to the old chrome-line and phosphating methods used years before.
Each gas key is machined from solid bar stock and then secured with Grade-8 fasteners. Bolts are properly staked to prevent them from ever loosening in the field. The entire bolt carrier is also nitrided to provide ample protection against heat and carbon fouling, making this M16-profile BCG a truly battle-ready component in your next AR rifle or pistol build.
