About Michigan Gun Shop
Michigan Gun Shop is a federally licensed firearms dealer based in Grand Rapids, serving Michigan shooters since 2014. We started small — one Type-1 FFL, a back-room workspace, and a focus on doing one thing well: getting the right firearm into the right hands without the upsell, the markup theater, or the runaround you get from the big-box stores.
Twelve years in, the formula hasn’t changed. We hold an active Federal Firearms License (Type 01 — Dealer in Firearms), maintain an Acquisition & Disposition log that’s passed every ATF compliance review since day one, and ship to verified FFL holders in all 50 states. Most orders leave our facility within two business days.
What We Sell
Handguns, rifles, shotguns, NFA items, optics, and the parts and accessories that go with them. We focus on the brands Michigan customers actually ask for — Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Ruger, Beretta, Walther, CZ, and the rest of the major U.S. and European manufacturers. We don’t list product we can’t source. If it’s on the site, it ships.
Who We Serve
Michigan residents make up the bulk of our customers — concealed-carry holders, hunters, sport shooters, first-time buyers learning the process. We also handle a steady volume of FFL transfers from out-of-state dealers and private sellers. If you bought a firearm anywhere and need a Michigan dealer to receive it, we’re set up to do that for $25 plus the state-required Pistol Sales Record fee.
Our Location
We operate from 1247 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The showroom is open by appointment for high-value pickups, NFA visits, and FFL transfers — we keep it appointment-only so we can give every customer real one-on-one time instead of running a register line. What You Won’t Get From Us
Bait-and-switch listings, “limited stock” pressure copy, fake countdown timers, fake reviews, or $99 firearms that turn into $349 firearms once you check out. We don’t do that. The price you see is the price you pay, plus shipping and the receiving FFL’s transfer fee on their end.
