Terms of Service

Terms of Service

By using michigan-gunshop.com or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Read them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a handgun, 18 to purchase a long gun. You must be legally allowed to own a firearm under federal, state, and local law. By placing an order you affirm that:

  • You are not a prohibited person under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)
  • You are not subject to a domestic violence restraining order
  • You have not been convicted of a felony or domestic-violence misdemeanor
  • You are not an unlawful user of any controlled substance
  • You have not been adjudicated mentally defective or committed to a mental institution

Lying on the federal Form 4473 is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Order Acceptance

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to: pricing or product errors, suspected fraud, inability to verify identity, or applicable legal restrictions in your jurisdiction. Cancelled orders are refunded in full to the original payment method.

Pricing & Availability

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to keep listings accurate, but errors occasionally occur. If a product is mispriced, we will notify you before shipment and either honor the listed price (at our discretion) or cancel and refund.

Shipping & Transfer

Firearms are shipped only to federally licensed dealers. The receiving FFL will charge their own transfer fee, typically $25–$50, for which we are not responsible. See Shipping Policy.

Returns

See Returns Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Michigan Gun Shop is not liable for misuse of any product sold. Firearms are inherently dangerous; safe handling is the owner’s responsibility. We recommend formal training from a certified instructor for any new firearm owner.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kent County, Michigan.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

Last updated: 2026. Effective immediately.
